Rubyvale Saphire Ring
Australian Blue Sapphire, Yellow Gold, White Gold
This deep blue and uncut Australian sapphire was found by Claudia Baetge in a well televised outback safari in which the goldsmith discovered an historic cache of 500 sapphires in the Queensland mining town of Rubyvale, Australia. The Sapphire is sunk and set into a heavy set ring of 18 carat white gold and is cloaked in a mantle of 20 carat matted yellow gold. The goldsmith is now taking orders for individual rings that are made out of this historical find.
